How to Produce A Blog Post

There are as many types of blog posts as you can think up, but some common types of blog posts include the following:
1. Personal Testimonials – Again personal interaction is what makes web 2.0 go so writing out personal testimonials is an excellent way to start interacting with your readership. This is especially true if you are personally vested in what you’re talking about.
2. Commentary – The most common type of blog post is usually a link to something and a commentary on what you’re linking to.
3. Analysis – A more in-depth type of blog post, which is common is an analytical blog post in which varying sources are weaved together to make a certain point.
4. Original Reporting – Finally you can do some original reporting with your blog posts by doing interviews with people and quoting them, or getting statements from people, or covering press releases from organizations that haven’t been covered in the press yet. When doing this, when using materials, quotes, and off-the-record information from people other than yourself it is important to adhere to certain journalistic ethics. Simple ethics include asking people if they can be quoted on the record, and making sure that anything you attribute to anyone is not false. It might be useful to look up Libel, here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libel.
When writing blog posts you can also choose to write short, medium, or long posts, all of which add a very different feel to your blog. Some people do a lot of short posts, others write long posts every once in a while. Since we are asking you to write once a week, I would suggest writing either medium or long posts.

Hi everyone! I had a wonderful time with all of you! Thanks Kathy! I am just wondering: Where should we post? I am kind of lost. Also, where can I obtain the contact information of the presenters? Thanks! :]
